For Families
Au Pairs: We recommend starting your search 2 to 4 weeks in advance. This allows enough time to browse through profiles, conduct interviews, and find the right fit for your family.
Pet Sitters & Babysitters: Ideally, bookings should be made 7 to 14 days in advance to ensure availability.
The app is designed to display only service providers who are available for your selected date(s), making your search more efficient.
Important:
You must be subscribed for the full period leading up to and including the end date of the service. The app will only show availability within your active subscription window.
Yes. All service providers on the app have been personally verified by the My Home PA team. Each individual undergoes a first-round interview and screening process before being granted access to the platform.
Look out for the “Verified” badge on their profile — this indicates they’ve met our internal verification standards. However, we always encourage families to conduct their own interviews and request additional references if needed for added peace of mind.
Absolutely! When you view a service provider’s profile, you’ll find recent reviews and ratings from other families to help you make an informed choice.

Au Pairs: Yes. Once you’ve connected with an au pair through the app, you can schedule an interview directly. We recommend having a phone or video call to discuss daily responsibilities and determine if they’re the right fit for your family.
Pet Sitters & Babysitters: While the app doesn’t offer a built-in interview scheduling feature, you can still book their services in advance and then arrange to meet or call them closer to the time. This allows you to confirm you’re comfortable with the caregiver before the booking takes place.
Yes. We use encryption and secure systems to protect your personal data. Connection to a service provider is prompted from the families’ side. No service provider will be able to contact you on the application if you are not connected. Personal contact details such as email addresses and phone numbers can only be shared once connected with mutual consent.
When signing up and subscribing, the application will prompt general characteristics for you to complete. The application will suggest service providers with similar interests/characteristics. You will also be able to view the profile of each potential candidate, which will include a short description of the candidate and a list of interests to enable you to make an informed decision.
You will also be able to message service providers previously used. If the service provider was the perfect fit for you and your family, you will be able to check their availability by viewing their calendar as this will be synced with the application. If available, send them a message to make use of their services again.
For Caregivers
The application is completely free to use for caregivers. We do not take any commission or cuts from what you earn. Families can choose from various subscription options to access premium features.
The application syncs with your Google calendar so your booking will be in both your application and Google calendars. The application will only show you as a candidate for the family if your calendar shows you are available for their selected dates. To avoid missed opportunities, we highly recommend to continuously monitor your calendar and keep it up to date.
Yes, if you are open to urgent/same day requests, we suggest you specify this in your profile.
All service providers will be background checked prior to being accepted on the application.
When signing up you will be asked to upload various documents, and an interview will be scheduled with us. Once this process has been completed you will either be accepted onto the application or be denied access. This will be clearly communicated.
Families will search for service providers in their area for specified dates. Only service providers available on these dates will be shown when the family performs their search (again specifying the importance of keeping your calendar up to date). Families will have the option to connect with you as the service provider. Once connected you will be able to send messages to the client and schedule final interviews. No service provider will be able to contact families if not connected.
We recommend completing your profile fully with a photo, bio, rates, experience, certifications, and availability and keeping it up to date. A complete and active profile will result in higher chances of receiving bookings.
The application only serves as a middle person to put you in contact with the family. Service providers and families should arrange payment directly between each other.
